    ​Paul Brewer, Ph.D., (University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, 1999) is Research Director of the Center for Political Communication and a Professor in the Department of Communication and in the Department of Political Science and International Relations. His research interests include political communication, public opinion, and science communication. He is the author of Value War: Public Opinion and the Politics of Gay Rights (Rowman & Littlefield, 2008). His research has also appeared in numerous scholarly journals, including the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics, Political Communication, Public Opinion Quarterly, Public Understanding of Science, and Science Communication.
